Loss of female scholarships and other academic spots ...

I thought I would write some quick notes on something I have seen recently, the loss of female scholarships and other academic spots due to in-part sports to trans-gender females.

While I fully support women, especially in academics and sports, I watch nothing else, I do not prescribe to unwarranted bias or simply drinking the coolaid of the moment pushed through Facebook.
Women have brains and should not think that everything coming through Facebook digital creators is in anyway factual, specially when most of it comes from men. Think for yourself and don't allow men to do it for out. They after all can't even follow IKEA assembly instructions without female help.

So what is being lost to trans-gender females ? Well, actually nothing. Basic math (-1) + (+1) = 0.
In a nutshell there are only at most a dozen trans-gender students in a high school for example, half are actually trans-gender males, these being AFAB (a female at birth). These trans-gender males participate in male sports, go to male extra-curricular activities, win male athletics events, apply for scholarships assigned to males and move on to college as males. While there are a male, they will likely undergo hormone replacement therapy for males, i.e. testosterone. This is the key, because that will give them facial hair, grow muscle mass, raise hemoglobin to biological male levels and thus super boost their blood oxygen for athletic advantages.

Back to the apparent monster in the room, the dreaded trans-gender female everyone is scared off. Well, she will do the exact same as the trans-gender male (AFAB), but the total opposite. When in college she will take estrogen, but, she will not gain any athletic advantage, the opposite, muscle loss, cartilage shrinkage, hemoglobin lowered to a biological female level into biological male blood volume of 12 pints vs 9. This means cardiovascular fatigue and NO athletic advantage.

At the end of the day, the trans-gender females will take female spots for things, trans-gender males will take male spots for things. All things being equal, game set and match to …. no one.

That is for college level and beyond, what about high school ?  This is were it gets a little more tricky because MOST pre-18 students are NOT on ANY gender affirming care except for therapy, this means they socially transitioning with therapy support.
This means yes, puberty is happening and yes, in some cases a biological male will be larger, fast etc than a biological female.  Maybe 10% more.  There is a 'but'.  Comparative size matters too, there are many current trans-female athletes that are the same physical size or smaller than biological females, opposite is true too.
The other 'but' is this - how many ?
If you look at my sports facts blog, I tell the exact numbers and sources, for now, I'll just tell you, each high school has around 750 students covering 4 grades.  The amount of trans-gender students per high school is about 10-12, maybe at most 15.  For now, we'll say 12.
Half of those students are biological female, i.e. TRANS-BOYS.  The percentage that will actually compete is a single digit percentage that will equate to ONE or NONE for each gender for the entire high school, not for each grade.  Then if you divide that by trans-female students that are above average for a female, you are talking about 50%, which out of 21,000 schools, you are talking a negligible amount that maybe above average out of 4,500,000 biological female students playing sports in the US, given that 2% of US women end up over 6 feet.  But none the less, the amount of ANY trans-female students in competitive athletics is small relatively.  Note that ANY statistic for trans-gender students in any kind of category is VERY SMALL.
