My struggles and rights as a woman are being eroded by trans-women saying they are women !

I see time and time again women saying that it's hard to understand trans-women and the safe-spaces issues.  Trans-women say they are women and therefore how do we know as women who is who.  Women have fought for these spaces and don't want men in them.  It invalidates women by men.

Well, first of all, let's just for arguments sake, trans-women are DIFFERENT than cis-male's, i.e. your usual bearded 200 pound construction worker type 'man'.

For you to be having these questions, you must have heard something from somewhere ?  Likely Facebook posts, other social media, right wing news outlets etc.  If so, that information is mostly heavily weighted on the side of totally wrong.

The reality is most of this media hype is perpetuated by cis-men.  Whether in government, media technology or Facebook feeds.  You as a woman need to step out of your role as a 1950's housewife and be your own person for a moment.  You are a free-thinking, strong, independent woman, with a brain of your own to make your own decisions on facts.  It's not your place to be spoon fed information from a bunch of men who are very likely insecure about their own sexuality and personalities anyway.  Just don't do it.  Many trans-women feel like Wonder Woman, they have a new found drive, courage, determination, confidence, sense of self.  You as a woman - be a Wonder Woman.

Trans-women are not changing the definition of who you are as a woman,  What is happening is this century we have seen a more open awareness of what gender is, what sexuality is, the acceptance that humans are not made from cookie cutters from the kitchen.  The old caveman concept that we are just XX or XY chromosomes is about a useful as the proverbial PJ's on a monkey.

No matter what alleged science you read, we are simply NOT binary either gender or sex.  The later is important to understand because while it's very easy to look at Facebook diagrams of two columns of chromosomes, XX variants on the left and XY variants on the right, all totaling about 27 sets or so, the fact remains that in those near 30 sets, while humans look just male or female, those variants carry some level of mental and physical changes internally that simply do not make us binary.

Without getting in to the weeds, the majority of trans-women are feminine thinkers, actors, not masculine and don't align with male, they feel different and are different.

Women are feminine, carer's, emotional, beautiful, child bearing, all those wonderful things.  But, most of those traits are purely physical, some are not, they are mental.  We all are two components, mind and body.  Women can be very masculine in mind and body too, men can be very feminine in mine and body.  In some situations, that may also mean, depending on biology, you may be also trans-gender.

So, are men trying to take women's spaces or invalidate women, define women to be worthless ?  No, okay let me re-phrase that, are cis-men trying to invalidate you and make you worth less than before, yes, whether deliberately or not, they are.  Are trans-women trying to do those things, no.

Trans-women are just being themselves, fitting in where they need to fit in, if they need to go potty during grocery shopping, is it a big deal ?  If a 16 year trans-child wants to play sports in high-school, is it a big deal ? No, it's a GAME, let kids be kids.  This trans-child is just trying to figure themselves out, have fun in school in amongst the likely hood of having difficult days.

Are trans-athletes trying to take over women's sports ? No, not with 20 athletes, again, they are just trying to live their life, it was a life of sports likely before transition and therefore is one after.

At the end of the day – Womanhood is yours individually, is there a trans-woman actually face to face with you trying to change that ?  Likely there isn't.  However the concept of manhood or womanhood isn't anything a man or woman can give or take from others, it's everyone's.
